A n H!!

counting down to the closing of the A & H challenge... for the few of us tat's fighting for it... it has been running ards, endless calls to new biz etc for the past 2 wks... tis daes the underwriting n updating of the sfa has gone into a halt... everything was sooooo slow... tis has caused much inconvenience to all of us... for those of us tat's still fighting for it, we hav another 4 daes.... jia you everyone!!

A great welcome back for the duo who's been missing in action esp our Lisa Jie Jie... been mths wor... haha.... ohhh... n nt forgetting our Master Chin... finally back frm over a mth's tour of europe... where's our sourvenirs wor?? :p

juz 3 daes back, Lisa Jie Jie brought wid her sum great contribution to the team.. beware!!! we'll win tis mth's challenge.... woahahhaha.....

Intensity!!

tis wk has been so far intense in terms of canvassing... back to the old playground... seeking to break my personal best.. haha... i'm almost there... it shall be broken... n a new height will be reached...

juz 1 mth old, our lady exclusive benefit has evolved further... 2 of the benefit has been increased to 50% instead of the initial 25%... i'm proud to say i've extended tis exclusive benefits to a few of the ladies..

Fishy Biz....

last nite at appro 2200 hrs, we (Young Man, Kristy, John n Me) set on a fishy business under the flagship of the youngest of the quartet...



when we (Young Man, Kristy n Me, John joined us slightly later) reached there, we were refused entry by the security... he told us tat the AVA regulations are tat visiting is frm 0100 to 0600 hrs... tat can onli slowed us down but nt gonna stopped us frm getting in... i went over to talk my way into the fishery port n guess wat?? we're in.... woahahahaha....



at tat hr, there wasn't much actions ard... there're already ppl at the stalls setting up... quite a nos of ppl lying on the divider sleeping.... talked to sum ppl there, found out tat appro 80 to 90 percent of the ppl working there r frm either china or m'sia... we recee ard the places drawing curious n wierd looks frm the ppl there... oso noticed tat the big cars (merc, BMWs) tat cum in r m'sia car plates...

we stayed there till almost 4 am in the morning before we call it a dae... we managed to tok to a nos of ppl... observed when the boats, lorries, cars etc came in... see it wid our own eyes how the place frm setting up to getting busy...

La Famille definately will be carrying out similar special project in the future... Jurong Fishery Port is juz the 1st... look out!!

Foolz??

Wednesday morning... La Famille wakes up verrriiiiii early, i mean realliiii early to set out in a quest to rescue a family member whu used to be our pride.... canvassing at Raffles Place at 0730 hrs... the nite before, was tossing n turning in bed wondering... wondering if ever the efforts of the family would be worth the cost???? but wat r family for?? so we went abt the quest... tis family member whom the quest was for is E.... lately E been of a massive core of negativity... frowning, pulling a loooooooong face, withdrawing in her own cave...

canvassing in the early hours in CBD area is pretty interesting.. seeing how the place lights up, turns down (Rain mah!!) and get wet..... it's pouring while we canvass.. having security guards trying chase us ard n having a wet shoes n socks.... but it doesn't damper us... we still went ahead wif it... sweat n toil thru the hours, hoping tat frm our actions, we're able to revive a fallen spirits... she watched us thru the session... we managed to wrapped up ard 1300 hrs for lunch... u tot it's fairy tale's ending?? NOPE NOPE!!! welcome to REALITY!!! the cause of our quest; instead of feeling remorseful, or thankful or appreciative, she made alll of us (ok!! shall nt speak others, makes me) feeel like a fooolz... ha... she answered her phone like she juz had a great dae... she laughs sooooo happily... the happier she laughs, the higher my blood shot... ironic isn't it? ha... well well...

Friday, June 19...

we were veri honoured to be invited to attend Mr Bernard Ho's meeting... during the meeting, he unveiled to us the monitoring system tat he had for his agency... the monitoring system is veri detailed, it zooms down to every details like nos of dials made... in a sense, it makes monitoring veri easy as we can c clearly frm it the amount of activities tat one has... it is veri generous of him to share the idea wid La Famille... Thank You Sir!!

Dhoby Ghaut Roadshow!!

Dhoby Ghaut roadshow is back, 8 to 14 jun... was suppose to be down for the roadshow but missed it due to the demise of my grandfather... went down to the roadshow on the first day (the very dae of my grandfather demise) to give them sum support (more like i'm going there coz i needed a breather) n oso to pass sum paperworks to E so tat she can help me settle.. the kind of energy i saw frm the rest of La Famille was outstanding as compared to others whu r at the roadshow...

Good job everyone!!

Bro-Ken was again hospitalised during the 1st half of the roadshow.. poor thing!!

Guerilla Sales Intensive

27th, 28th May.... it's Guerilla Sales Intensive once again...

tis time round, we had 5 participants frm our side... where as Bro-Ken & I attended as crew... woahahaha.... it is such a diff feelings when u attend the same training assuming diff roles...

tis time round, the class was much smaller as it is a special run as requested by sum ppl... thou the class size is reduced, rest assured tat the content was nt cut short... Day 1 was from 0930 to 2200 hrs, day 2 was from 0930 to 1800 hrs... object handling, mindset, a champion's attributes, sales cycle, managing fears etc were among the topics tat r covered in the 2 days...

Day 2, bro-ken conducted the segment of modelling... it is for us to model aft other ppl's emotion... step into other ppl's shoes n feel how they feel... the 2 models tat we're doing is our MM Lee and Jack Nicholson's role in "A Few Good Men".

CEO's Challenge!!

Todae, 19 May is the CEO Cold Canvassing Challenge... many ppl participated.. the event was flagged off by PACS CEO, Mr Philip Seah...

we were representing BIG Boss, Mr Raymond Tan's cluster... to make the game even more exciting, we were split into 2 smaller teams; Desmond's Team, Raymond+Tony+Zinc's Team... a little challenge was thrown between us... i'm proud to be the team ic for the team which consist of John, Danny, Stephen, Cheryl and Edmund... we set off to Raffles Place after a short briefing...

juz before lunch, we received news from the other team tat they already closed 4 cases but our proud Stephen replied them tat we already hav 5... haha... the other team came over to Raffles Place aft lunch, competition has cum to our doorstep... the team toiled under the hot sun, nt wanting to concede defeat... I'm proud of u guys!! we went back to office at 17oo hrs to submit our survey book.. interesting to say, there's tis gal frm Nora's side, she completed the whole survey book of 120 names... OUTSTANDING isn't it?? she shared wid the whole room abt how she do it... I tik the whole room was amazed tat she asked for referrals on the spot frm the prospect... tat's a fresh idea to all... thou we didn't win anything frm the CEO's Challenge but we won the mini challenge between the 2 teams... BIG Boss, Mr Raymond Tan presented the cash price to me (team ic), receiving on behalf of my team... PROUD of everyone in the team...

Short Retreat!!

went over to Batam for a short retreat n to meet our frienz frm across the ocean.. the trip to Batam is always bloating... eating, eating n more eating.... I tik Sudi is worried tat we're starved... woahahaha... let the thousand words tell u abt it...

Great Team Work!!

okayz okayz... i noe i'm slow but it's my blog leh... let's rewind a bit to saturday...

I had tis appointment wid a prospect tat i canvassed at our usual place... it's realliii a last min 1... i received her call at appro 1615 hrs, then she told me tat we can meet up in the evening as her appointment wid her frienz waz called off... so we fixed the timing to be 1730 hrs @ Vivo City... i went back to office and change as i was around the area...

we met up @ Vivo and went to the food republic to chat as she wants to hav her dinner... Kristy rushed down aft she finished sch to help me wid the appointment... Thankz Kristy...

as my prospect didn't tell me tat she's a smoker so the illustrations tat i presented to her was based on non-smoker rate... she liked the idea n decided to take up the plans... but when i generated the illustrations for a smoker's rate, the monthly premium r $40 more... Wow!! I was tiking to myself, "now i hafta try convince her again due to the diff in premiums".... I'm glad tat Kristy was ard, she helped to convince my prospect abt the risks tat a smoker is exposed to... so my prospect agreed to take up the plans even though tat it is $40 more... Thankz Kristy again for the help...

the case once again demostrate how powerful a team work can be n La Famille prides itself in terms of team spirits...

Dormant = Sleep!!

tis is a sequel to the previous entry abt friday...

y friday?? hmmmm.... coz it's a goood dae... woahahahaha....

okie okie.... back to the heading... Dormant comes from a Latin word meaning sleep... let me elaborate more abt tat... I'm actually referring to myself... coz for the past 2 to 3 wks, there's no movement for me... no new cases cuming in etc... so it's like a dormant volcano = sleeping... and I'm glad to be AWAKE again.... went for appointment aft the lunch at PSA, went wif API in mind but came back wid AIPI... haha... but it's great anyway... the feeling is onli 1 word, "SHIOK!!"

my 3rd wk in reign as the meeting master, glad to see new faces again...

but we need to get sum ground rules rite..

firstly, the "songs man" for the dae hafta set up the projector earlier... it's veri logical mah.. can't be onli starting to set up when the meeting is scheduled to start.. dun everyone agree abt tat?

I hope there won't be another time tat our boss whose's name is in the periodic table hafta say tat again....

secondly, like wat "Bro-Ken" said: "the songs r meant to be uplifting" so everyone, choose the rite songs...

the session was scheduled at 0845 hrs in the morning, journey to the office was slowed down by congested traffic so we arrived abt 10 mins aft 0845 hrs.. the crowd was still having the breakfast outside the room so we were spared any strange looks... oohhh... they converted the Konica showroom on ground floor into a Pathfinder's training room kind of facility... made the way into the room wid the "twins"... too many people attended the session so there was nt enuff chairs for everyone... our pooooooorrrr mummy-to-be hafta be on her feets throughout the appro 35 to 40 mins session by Phil...
